.id launches National Economic Indicators Series

.id, in conjunction with NIEIR (National Economics), have released a key set of economic indicators for every Local Government Area in Australia. The indicators provide a snapshot of each local economy, showing how it contributes to the broader State economy and how it is performing in relation to other areas. 2012 GRP and employment figures released

The 2012 economic model from National Economics has been released. This includes 2012 figures for GRP, employment by industry, value add by industry, hours worked, consumption, exports, imports and local sales. This is the most up to date, locally nuanced economic series available and shows change back to 1999.
