An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in Griffith City in 2015/16 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Construction (224 people or 12.0%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (196 people or 10.6%)
  • Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services (181 people or 9.7%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $601 million in total or 32.4% of the total local sales by total industry in Griffith City.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 16.8% in Construction; 1.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 14.1% in Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services.
