Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in City of Joondalup in 2015/16 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Retail Trade ($347 million or 43.5%)
  • Education and Training ($151 million or 18.9%)
  • Manufacturing ($79 million or 9.9%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $577 million in total or 72.3% of the total exports by total industry in the City of Joondalup.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 1.1% in Retail Trade; 1.4% in Education and Training; and 11.8% in Manufacturing.
