Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in City of Joondalup in 2014/15 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Retail Trade ($430 million or 28.5%)
  • Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($332 million or 22.0%)
  • Education and Training ($215 million or 14.3%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $977 million in total or 64.8% of the total exports by total industry in the City of Joondalup.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 1.3% in Retail Trade; 2.5% in Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services; and 1.4% in Education and Training.
