Dominant groups

An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in City of Joondalup in 2014/15 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($1,474 million or 35.8%)
  • Public Administration and Safety ($495 million or 12.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($413 million or 10.0%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $2,382 million in total or 57.8% of the total imports by total industry in the City of Joondalup.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 35.2% in Manufacturing; 4.0% in Public Administration and Safety; and 5.6% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
