Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Maranoa Regional Council in 2014/15 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Mining ($704 million or 55.3%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($297 million or 23.4%)
  • Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services ($97 million or 7.6%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $1,097 million in total or 86.2% of the total exports by total industry in the Maranoa Regional Council.
