An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in Maranoa Regional Council in 2014/15 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Construction (852 people or 48.5%)
  • Manufacturing (85 people or 4.8%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (78 people or 4.4%)
