Dominant groups
An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the RDA Northern Territory in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($5,891 million or 29.8%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($1,941 million or 9.8%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($1,568 million or 7.9%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $9,401 million in total or 47.6% of the total imports by industry in the the RDA Northern Territory.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Northern Territory accounted for 29.8% in Manufacturing; 9.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 7.9% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the RDA Northern Territory and Northern Territory were:
