  • Construction (2,035 people or 18.0%)
  • Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services (1,111 people or 9.8%)
  • Retail Trade (1,010 people or 8.9%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $4,156 million in total or 36.7% of the total local sales by total industry in Sutherland Shire.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 17.9% in Construction; 8.0% in Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services; and 6.0% in Retail Trade.
