Dominant groups

In 2011, there were 2,271 people in the [IndkeyAltLW] who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in The Hills Shire, compared with 43,177 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the [IndkeyAltLW] in The Hills Shire in 2011 compared to New South Wales shows that 3.9% used public transport, while 75.0% used a private vehicle, compared with 13.8% and 64.1% respectively in New South Wales.

The major differences between the method of travel to work of the [IndkeyAltLW] in The Hills Shire and New South Wales were:
