Dominant groups

In 2011, there were 2,672 people in the local resident workers who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in City of Vincent, compared with 9,916 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the local labour force in the City of Vincent shows that 14.9% used public transport, while 55.2% used a private vehicle, compared with 9.2% and 67.1% respectively in Western Australia.

The major differences between the method of travel to work of the local labour force in the City of Vincent and Western Australia were:
