Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Wyong Shire in 2014/15 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($625 million or 42.9%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services ($174 million or 11.9%)
  • Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services ($157 million or 10.8%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $956 million in total or 65.5% of the total exports by total industry in Wyong Shire.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 17.6% in Manufacturing; 2.3% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 2.2% in Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services.

The major differences between total exports by industries in Wyong Shire and New South Wales were:
