Overall, 33.1% of the local resident workers worked part-time (34 hours or less), and 60.1% worked full-time (35 hours or more), compared with 29.9% and 64.0% respectively for New South Wales.

The major differences between the hours worked by the local resident workers of Wyong Shire and New South Wales were:
