An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in Wyong Shire in 2014/15 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($1,429 million or 32.2%)
  • Other Services ($339 million or 7.6%)
  • Public Administration and Safety ($271 million or 6.1%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $2,039 million in total or 46.0% of the total imports by total industry in Wyong Shire.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 35.7% in Manufacturing; 1.1% in Other Services; and 3.7% in Public Administration and Safety.

The major differences between total imports by industries in Wyong Shire and New South Wales were:
