Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident workers in City of Adelaide in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (3,514 people or 37.9%)
- Managers (1,375 people or 14.8%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (1,140 people or 12.3%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 6,029 people in total or 65.0% of the resident workers .
In comparison, South Australia employed 20.3% in Professionals; 12.6% in Managers; and 12.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
