An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Albany in 2019/20 shows the three largest industries were:
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (309 million or 23.8%)
- Manufacturing (184 million or 14.2%)
- Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services (173 million or 13.3%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 666 million in total or 51.2% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Albany.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 3.3% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 14.6% in Manufacturing and 1.8% in Electricity, Gas, Water and Waste Services.
The major differences between the total exports by industries of the City of Albany and Western Australia were:
