Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Armidale Regional Council in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Education and Training (408 million or 36.5%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (352 million or 31.5%)
- Manufacturing (70 million or 6.2%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 830 million in total or 74.1% of the total exports by industry in the Armidale Regional Council.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 3.8% in Education and Training; 4.1% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 14.3% in Manufacturing.
The major differences between the total exports by industries of Armidale Regional Council and New South Wales were:
