An analysis of the jobs held by the local workers in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Accommodation and Food Services (900 people or 13.9%)
- Retail Trade (761 people or 11.7%)
- Manufacturing (639 people or 9.9%)
