Dominant groups
An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Shire of Beverley in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($47 million or 23.7%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($22 million or 11.0%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($19 million or 9.6%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $87 million in total or 44.2% of the total imports by industry in the the Shire of Beverley.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Regional WA accounted for 23.9% in Manufacturing; 2.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 10.6% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the Shire of Beverley and Regional WA were:
- A smaller percentage of total imports by Mining (3.1% compared to 24.2%)
- A larger percentage of total imports by Health Care and Social Assistance (11.0% compared to 2.6%)
