An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Boroondara in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (2,176 million or 37.2%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (742 million or 12.7%)
- Education and Training (675 million or 11.5%)
