Dominant groups

An analysis of the domestic exports by industry sectors in Bundaberg Regional Council in 2017/18 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($664 million or 41.5%)
  • Manufacturing ($348 million or 21.8%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($126 million or 7.9%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $1,138 million in total or 71.1% of the total domestic export by total industry in the Bundaberg Regional Council.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Queensland accounted for 8.6% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 11.5% in Manufacturing; and 11.3% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
