Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the local workers in Cardinia Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (4,510 people or 14.3%)
- Education and Training (3,775 people or 12.0%)
- Retail Trade (3,515 people or 11.2%)
In combination these three fields accounted for 11,800 people in total or 37.5% of the local workers.
In comparison, Victoria employed 9.4% in Construction; 8.8% in Education and Training and 9.4% in Retail Trade.
