Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Casey in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing (620 million or 24.6%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (406 million or 16.1%)
- Information Media and Telecommunications (176 million or 7.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 1,202 million in total or 47.7% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Casey.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Victoria accounted for 19.6% in Manufacturing; 10.1% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing and 4.8% in Information Media and Telecommunications.
