An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the City of Charles Sturt in 2020/21 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($2,004million or 24.6%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($896million or 11.0%)
- Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($800million or 9.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $3,699 million in total or 45.5% of the total local sales by total industry in the the City of Charles Sturt.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 21.6% in Construction; 7.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 10.7% in Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services.
