An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Shire of Chittering in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($181 million or 26.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($63 million or 9.3%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services ($56 million or 8.2%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $300 million in total or 43.9% of the total imports by industry in the the Shire of Chittering.
