Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident workers in the Moreton Bay Region in 2021shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (39,202 people or 17.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (32,335 people or 14.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (30,987 people or 14.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 102,524 people in total or 46.7% of the resident workers (All industries).

In comparison, Queensland employed 21.4% in Professionals; 13.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers and 12.7% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
