An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Cook Shire in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Mining (230 million or 59.1%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (87 million or 22.5%)
- Manufacturing (26 million or 6.6%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 342 million in total or 88.1% of the total exports by industry in the Cook Shire.
