An analysis of the jobs held by the resident workers in the Cradle Coast Region in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Labourers (6,707 people or 15.1%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (6,693 people or 15.1%)
- Professionals (6,034 people or 13.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 19,434 people in total or 43.8% of the resident workers (All industries).
In comparison, the Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services workforce in the Cradle Coast Region employed 3.1% in Labourers; 6.0% in Technicians and Trades Workers and 6.9% in Professionals.
The major differences between the jobs held by the resident workers (All industries) of the Cradle Coast Region and Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services were:
