Agriculture value data should be viewed in conjunction with the Industry Sector Analysis page for the Agriculture sector, which has modelled estimates of the size of the industry on an annual basis. The Employment Locations page will show where agricultural activity is taking place and the Workforce Profiles section will reveal the characteristics of agricultural workers.
NOTE for 2016:The ABS no longer produce estimates of Agricultural output at Local Government Area (LGA) level. These estimates are derived using an employment-based fit of SA2 areas to the boundary of Gladstone Regional Council area. This fit may not always be perfect, so users are advised to treat the numbers presented as a guide to the agricultural industries present in the area, rather than exact estimates. For this reason, data for earlier years are not comparable with the current Agricultural Census and are not presented here.Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) - Value of Agricultural Commodities Produce 2015-16
