- Manufacturing ($223 million or 28.3%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($98 million or 12.4%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($65 million or 8.3%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $387 million in total or 49.0% of the total imports by industry in the the Gunnedah Shire.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 32.2% in Manufacturing; 10.4% in Financial and Insurance Services and 4.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the Gunnedah Shire and New South Wales were:
