Analysis of the resident workers (Retail Trade) individual income levels in the Gunnedah Shire in 2016 compared to Administrative and Support Services shows that there was a higher proportion earning a high income (those earning $1,750 per week or more) as well as a higher proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 3.8% of the resident workers (Retail Trade) earned a high income, and 38.3% earned a low income, compared with 0.0% and 27.7% respectively for Administrative and Support Services.
The major differences between the weekly income of the resident workers (Retail Trade) in the Gunnedah Shire and Administrative and Support Services were:
