Dominant groups

An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the Shire of Harvey in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($726 million or 23.6%)
  • Mining ($451 million or 14.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($272 million or 8.9%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $1,449 million in total or 47.2% of the total imports by industry in the the Shire of Harvey.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Regional WA accounted for 23.9% in Manufacturing; 24.2% in Mining and 2.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
