Analysis of the resident workers individual income levels in the Inner West Council area in 2016 compared to SSROC shows that there was a higher proportion earning a high income (those earning $1,750 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 32.3% of the resident workers earned a high income, and 11.8% earned a low income, compared with 26.9% and 14.9% respectively for SSROC.
The major differences between the weekly income of the resident workers in the Inner West Council area and SSROC were:
