Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in City of Joondalup in 2016/17 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Retail Trade ($440 million or 26.3%)
  • Education and Training ($273 million or 16.3%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($271 million or 16.2%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $984 million in total or 58.8% of the total exports by total industry in the City of Joondalup.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Greater Perth accounted for 2.9% in Retail Trade; 4.1% in Education and Training; and 6.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
