Dominant groups

An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Kiama Municipality in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (92 million or 30.1%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (70 million or 23.0%)
  • Administrative and Support Services (26 million or 8.6%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 189 million in total or 61.7% of the total exports by industry in the Kiama Municipality.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Regional NSW accounted for 13.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 4.5% in Accommodation and Food Services and 2.1% in Administrative and Support Services.
