Dominant groups
An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in Ku-ring-gai Council area in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

- Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($1,340million or 13.8%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($1,092million or 11.3%)
