Dominant groups

An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in City of Launceston in 2015/16 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($712 million or 32.3%)
  • Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($488 million or 22.1%)
  • Mining ($334 million or 15.1%)
