An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in Lismore City in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($609 million or 35.6%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($235 million or 13.7%)
- Wholesale Trade ($121 million or 7.1%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $966 million in total or 56.4% of the total imports by total industry in the Lismore City.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 32.2% in Manufacturing; 10.4% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 4.0% in Wholesale Trade.
