An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in Lismore City in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($611 million or 37.1%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services ($224 million or 13.6%)
  • Wholesale Trade ($112 million or 6.8%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $947 million in total or 57.4% of the total imports by total industry in the Lismore City.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 33.4% in Manufacturing; 10.5% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 4.0% in Wholesale Trade.
