An analysis of the jobs held by the female workforce in Lismore City in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (2,977 female local workers or 27.9%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,213 female local workers or 20.7%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (1,725 female local workers or 16.2%)
