Dominant groups
An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in Livingstone Shire Council area in 2018/19 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($675million or 34.1%)
- Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($218million or 11.0%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($132million or 6.7%)
