Dominant groups
An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the City of Mandurah in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($1,414million or 26.9%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($689million or 13.1%)
- Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services ($427million or 8.1%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $2,530 million in total or 48.1% of the total local sales by total industry in the the City of Mandurah.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 25.2% in Construction; 5.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance and 5.8% in Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services.
The major differences between local sales by industries of the City of Mandurah and Western Australia were:
