An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Maroondah in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing (1,913 million or 54.7%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (273 million or 7.8%)
- Retail Trade (214 million or 6.1%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 2,400 million in total or 68.6% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Maroondah.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Greater Melbourne accounted for 18.2% in Manufacturing; 11.5% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing and 3.5% in Retail Trade.
