  • Manufacturing ($13,270 million or 35.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($6,276 million or 16.6%)
  • Mining ($2,740 million or 7.2%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $22,286 million in total or 58.8% of the total imports by industry in the the City of Melbourne.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Victoria accounted for 32.0% in Manufacturing; 8.6% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing and 5.4% in Mining.

The major differences between total imports by industries of the City of Melbourne and Victoria were:
