An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Monash in 2019/20 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing (3,465 million or 25.8%)
  • Wholesale Trade (2,545 million or 19.0%)
  • Education and Training (1,743 million or 13.0%)

In combination these three industries accounted for 7,753 million in total or 57.8% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Monash.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Victoria accounted for 21.9% in Manufacturing; 6.7% in Wholesale Trade and 4.0% in Education and Training.
