An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the City of Monash in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Manufacturing ($4,035 million or 38.6%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($1,152 million or 11.0%)
  • Public Administration and Safety ($932 million or 8.9%)
