An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the City of Monash in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Construction ($3,343million or 15.2%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ($2,548million or 11.6%)
- Manufacturing ($1,909million or 8.7%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $7,800 million in total or 35.5% of the total local sales by total industry in the the City of Monash.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Victoria accounted for 22.7% in Construction; 8.9% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services and 7.7% in Manufacturing.
The major differences between local sales by industries of the City of Monash and Victoria were:
