An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in Shire of Murray in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing (2,351 million or 61.3%)
- Mining (1,316 million or 34.3%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (70 million or 1.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 3,737 million in total or 97.4% of the total exports by industry in the Shire of Murray.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 11.9% in Manufacturing; 54.9% in Mining and 4.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.
The major differences between the total exports by industries of Shire of Murray and Western Australia were:
