Analysis of the resident workers age structure of Northern Midlands Council area in 2016 compared to Education and Training shows that there was a lower proportion of people in the younger age groups (15 to 44 years) as well as a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (45 years and over).
Overall, 47.7% of the resident workers was aged under 45 years, compared to 39.2% for Education and Training. 52.3% were aged 45 years and over, compared to 60.8% for Education and Training.
The major differences between the resident workers age structure of Northern Midlands Council area and Education and Training were:
