  • Manufacturing ($29 million or 29.4%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services ($15 million or 14.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($9 million or 8.7%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $52 million in total or 52.9% of the total imports by industry in the the Flinders Council.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in Tasmania accounted for 29.4% in Manufacturing; 8.4% in Financial and Insurance Services and 8.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between total imports by industries of the Flinders Council and Tasmania were:

  • A larger percentage of total imports by Financial and Insurance Services (14.8% compared to 8.4%)
