An analysis of the local sales by industry sectors in the Flinders Council in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance ($6million or 12.9%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing ($5million or 10.1%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $23 million in total or 45.5% of the total local sales by total industry in the the Flinders Council.
